One day a week garbage collection has started

Manatee County has begun the one day a week garbage collection. You can read more about the Big Bin Advantage on the county website. Important reminders:

• Our collection day is now Friday for garbage, recycling and yard waste

• Cans should be placed curbside and approximately 3 feet apart from each other

• No additional garbage bags can be placed next to the can (if you need an additional can, contact Manatee County)

• Yard waste must be in bins, tied bundles of 4 feet or less in length (with any branches be 6 (inches) or less in diameter), or compostable paper lawn and leaf bags
